The steel bodied multi-fuel stove robust looks and large viewing window makes it suitable for most room settings. Whilst boasting a much wider footprint compared to the standard Arundel stove, the Arundel XL still has a direct heat output rating of 4.9kW so it’s ideally suited to standard sized rooms and in most instances, an air-vent is not required. This is achieved due to the depth of the stove being reduced which will also make it more flexible for many installation types. This stove will appeal for those looking to for the ultimate impact with a superb view of the dancing flames through the panoramic window and for those with a larger inglenook or chamber space to fill. The Arundel XL has the same heavy duty steel body as the standard sized model combined with a robust, cast iron door. Easy to use Primary and Secondary air controls allow you to adjust the burn rate to your exact requirements. Tertiary air helps with efficiency and this fabulous stove is rated as Energy Efficiency Class A. As a multi-fuel appliance, the Arundel XL allows you to burn wood (logs up to 250mm/10″ in length) or smokeless fuels and features an external controllable riddle system. Top or rear flue connection to a 125mm (5″) flue. The Portway Arundel XL Multifuel stove is a large proportioned version of the Arundel Multifuel stove. It makes an instant impact with its striking extra large viewing window, contemporary styling and contrast polished silver handle. This hard working steel bodied stove features a cast iron door and a log retaining grate bar that, although part of the functionality of the stove, enhances its overall aesthetics.
