Our Brazilian Black Riven Slate Medium Rectangle ¼ Shape Hearths provide a strong and attractive base for freestanding log burners. The compact shaped design offers a practical alternative to a standard rectangular hearth, while the natural riven surface retains the individual character of Brazilian slate.

As slate is a natural stone, variation in colour, texture and surface detail should be expected. Hearths can vary across black, charcoal and grey tones, with some appearing relatively plain while others may display two-tone colouring, natural patterning, cleft lines, banding or more pronounced riven texture.
